Living with an Aching Heart
Understanding Grief During Times of COVID-19
We redefine "normal" every day as we support clients, families, and each other during COVID-19. Despite this, we remain capable, compassionate and competent in our workplaces and communities. This framework is coupled with day-to-day challenges to maintain family/life balance during times of increasing stress. This workshop will identify multi-faceted grief reactions as these relate to moving forward within the COVID-19 environment. Discussions center around normalizing these reactions to build awareness and resilience needed to face what lies ahead. Participants will be invited to share in discussion and to describe experiences. Educational tools and summary will be provided and distributed to all participants. Workshops and discussions can be customized to meet the needs of your organization or group.
