Creating Hope with Ability Beyond
Last week, Hearts of Hope of Newtown, CT hosted a special Paint with a Purpose event to honor the memory of our friend, Russell Stiles. Russell was a member of the Ability Beyond community, an organization that offers services to more than 3,000 individuals with disabilities throughout Connecticut and New York. On October 25, we painted ceramic hearts to give as gifts to participants of Ability Beyond. We were lucky enough to be joined by some talented artists and kind-hearted individuals from Ability Beyond, who enjoyed painting their own beautiful creations.
We hosted our event with Ability Beyond at the Newtown Community Center. Thanks to generous donations from individuals and corporate sponsors, we were able to offer this family-friendly event free of charge. If you’d like to help us continue creating and delivering hope to groups like Ability Beyond, we hope you will consider offering your support.
Russell Stiles was a kind and wonderful man who shared his smile with everyone lucky enough to know him. We are honored to spread some of the kindness Russell embodied through delivering the hearts we painted last week to Russell’s friends at Ability Beyond.
