Hearts of Hope Newtown, CT, Chapter

OUR HISTORY

Our first CT chapter was formed following the Sandy Hook School tragedy in December 2012. Friends and neighbors joined together to develop a chapter mission of resilience, inclusion, and kindness to all. This vibrant chapter has reached out to communities facing tragedy and loss worldwide.

OUR CHAPTER'S MISSION AND VISION

To create art to help people heal from grief, tragedy, and trauma. We do this to spread kindness, compassion, healing, and hope within our community as well as nationwide.

"PAINT WITH A PURPOSE"

Our chapter hosts periodic events throughout the year where handmade heart-shaped ceramic hearts are painted and decorated for the benefit of people in need of encouragement and hope. Each hearts is accompanied by a message of caring and compassion.
